Bloemcool draws its name from Bloemkoolfontein, as the Fairview farm was called when it was first granted to settlers in the 1600s. It is a reminder that inspiration often begins in the past. From this historic soil springs a range that is anything but conventional.

Bloemcool is a playground for curiosity and creativity. Most of the wines are a once-off expression, born from experimentation with unusual cultivars, forgotten vineyards, or alternative winemaking techniques. Sometimes the result is contemplative, sometimes surprising, but always authentic!

Here, history is not just preserved, it is reimagined. These limited releases give winemakers the freedom to innovate, push boundaries, and produce bottles that challenge expectations while paying homage to the centuries of viticulture rooted in this land.
