The newly released Fairview ‘The Grenaches’ is a quality focus on site specific Grenache (rouge and blanc, with a Rose in the pipeline) from a combination of old vines and more recently planted vineyards from Piekenierskloof and Paarl.
It is a collaborated initiative from owner Charles Back, cellarmaster Anthony de Jager and sommelier Higgo Jacobs. The Grenache Noir was picked and vinified with delicious drink-ability front of mind, with low alcohol levels, and spending time in older 300l oak barrels.
The Grenache Noir brims with juicy red fruit, exotic spices and a bright line of acidity.
