The newly released Fairview ‘The Grenaches’ Bag in Box is a quality focus on site specific Grenache (rouge and blanc, with a Rose in the pipeline) from a combination of old vines and more recently planted vineyards from Piekenierskloof and Paarl.
Out of stock
It is a collaborated initiative from owner Charles Back, cellarmaster Anthony de Jager and sommelier Higgo Jacobs, inspired by the lack of high quality, interesting varietal wines in alternative packaging available on the market. The Grenache blanc was picked and vinified with delicious drink-ability front of mind, with low alcohol levels, and spending time in older 300l oak barrels.
It is aromatic with stone fruit and floral nuance, with a crisp palate and slight (typical for the variety) chalky texture.
