A ‘calderata’ is a traditional Catalan earthenware pot used for cooking. A classic Southern Rhone style blend (Grenache, Shiraz, Mourvèdre), Caldera reflects this Mediterranean flavour.

The fruit was hand harvested in the early morning.The Grenache, Shiraz and Mourvédre were hand sorted and fermented in Foudre (open-top French oak barrels). The individual components were matured separately in 2nd to 4th fill French oak barrels for 17 months, then blended and bottled with a very light filtration.
