Grapes were sourced predominantly from vineyards in Darling, as well as a small component from the Stellenbosch area.
Winemaking:
Grapes were fermented in stainless steel tanks, pressed and sent to 225l barriques for 12 months. Older French and American oak barrels were used.
Tasting note:
Classic nose, showing intense blackcurrant, cedar and herbaceous character. The palate is well balanced, with ripe fruit depth and elegant oak, complementing the wine’s cooler climate acidity.
