Vineyards in the Piekenierskloof as well as from the Fairview farm in Paarl.

Winemaking:

This is a combination of tank and barrel (25%) fermented wine. 2nd and 3rd fill French oak barrels were used, adding a subtle texture and mouthfeel to the wine. The wine was left on the lees for four months before the two components were blended and bottled.

Tasting note:

Red apples and limes on the nose with a gentle lick of oak evident. The wood is subtle, but well integrated, adding lovely depth, backed up by grapefruit and melon flavours.
