At Fairview we are proud of our offering – a true winelands experience that stays close to what the Fairview brand is all about. Our farm offering is oriented around the enjoyment of excellent quality products in the company of friendly and well informed hosts.
Vineyards
Although the cellar is at our farm in Paarl, Fairview has vineyards in four viticultural regions: Paarl, Stellenbosch, Darling and the Swartland. Each offers different terroir and site selection is extremely important.
Tasting room
In our wine tasting and cheese tasting room, our hosts will guide you through a relaxed tasting of the products made right here on the farm.
Shop and Deli
The Fairview cheese shop stocks our range of goats’ milk and cow’s milk cheeses, as well as a wide range of local relishes and preserves. Our cheesemakers also try out new products in the farm shop, so look out for interesting cheeses.
The Goatshed Restaurant
Our Goatshed farm restaurant brings together the various aspects of the Fairview experience, allowing you to unwind in an informal environment and enjoy some of the winelands’ finest fare.
The Vineyard Cheesery
First established in 1980, Fairview’s cheesery is renowned for its innovative and delicious range of goats’ and cows’ milk cheeses.
Fairview goat herd
Fairview’s most famous landmark is undoubtedly our Goat Tower and the select few who call it home proudly represent our herd of over 750 on the farm. Our goats are an important part of daily life on the farm.
Jersey cows
The majority of Fairview cheeses are produced using Jersey cows’ milk, with its high butterfat and protein levels making it the best milk to use, in the opinion of our cheese makers! Milk is sourced from a small group of selected farmers.
